About RPM Solar

RPM Solar Corp., Inc. is focused on properly engineered solar solutions – not just selling equipment. Every system is designed to match the owner’s actual loads, usage schedule, and reliability requirements.

Our background in engineering and field operations ensures that the installed systems are safe, efficient, and easy to maintain.

Why Clients Choose RPM Solar
  • Engineer-led sizing and configuration.
  • Clear explanation of what the system can and cannot do.
  • Focus on realistic savings, not exaggerated claims.
  • Support for both homeowners and technical professionals.
System Types

RPM Solar can design different system types depending on your objectives – savings, backup power, or full off-grid operation.

Hybrid Solar System

Combines PV, battery storage, and grid. Designed for both savings and backup power. Ideal when brownouts are frequent or when certain loads must always stay on.

  • Runs critical loads during outages.
  • Maximizes self-consumption of solar.
  • Can be tuned based on battery SOC targets.

Grid-Tied Solar System

PV system connected to the grid, without batteries. Focused on daytime bill reduction for homes, offices, and commercial spaces with stable utility supply.

  • Lower upfront cost than hybrid.
  • Best for sites with daytime usage.
  • Can be prepared for future battery upgrade.

Off-Grid Solar System

Stand-alone system for areas without reliable grid connection. Uses PV and batteries as the primary power source.

  • Suitable for farms, rest houses, remote properties.
  • Designed based on critical loads and usage hours.
  • Can be combined with generator sets if needed.
How We Work

The goal is to make sure the system is correctly sized and that expectations are clear before installation.

Step 1
Initial Discussion & Data

You send your latest electric bill, list of important loads, and basic site details. RPM Solar reviews your information and clarifies objectives (savings, backup, or both).

Step 2
Engineering Design

We prepare a proposed system size (kWp and kWh), inverter type, and connection concept. This includes estimated savings and backup coverage based on your data.

Step 3
Installation & Configuration

Once approved, RPM Solar installs and configures the system, ensuring proper protection, monitoring, and documentation, with clear guidance on how to use it daily.

Sample Actual Case – Natividad Hybrid System

The Natividad project is an internal RPM Solar installation used as a reference for performance. It demonstrates how a correctly sized hybrid system behaves in real operation.

Location: Natividad North, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija

System Type: Hybrid solar with battery and DEYE inverter

Design Capacity:

  • PV Array: 14 × 600W Trina bifacial panels (8.4 kWp)
  • Battery Bank: SolarHome LPBF24V300 – 51.2V, 300Ah (≈ 15.36 kWh)
  • Inverter: DEYE 8 kW Hybrid (PV + Battery + Grid)
  • Function: Battery-first operation with automatic brownout backup
≈ 70% Savings Actual Deye monitoring confirms that the Natividad system reduces grid import by around 70% per month, depending on season and usage, validating the correctness of the design and sizing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you design systems even if I am still comparing options?
Yes. As long as basic data is provided (electric bill, location, target loads), RPM Solar can propose a configuration that you may use for comparison.
Can I start with grid-tied and add batteries later?
In many cases, yes. The system can be designed so that a future battery upgrade will be compatible with the inverter and wiring layout.
Will the system cover 100% of my usage?
That depends on available roof space, budget, and load pattern. In some sites, 100% coverage is not practical, but significant reduction in grid import is achievable with proper sizing.
